Redax Direct High-Flow Transition Enhances Flow Performance

The Redax innovative line of fluted silicone thoracic drains include the Kardia Spiral, Coaxial and Smart Drain. Each drain features Redax’s unique direct high-flow transition from the indwelling to the open bore tube which enhances flow performance and patency, mitigating clot formation.

Redax Direct Transition Vs Competitive Fluted Drains Competitive fluted catheters have an indirect transition spanning a few inches (up to four times longer) compromising flow and a higher likelihood of thrombus formation, leading to chest tube occlusion.

The Redax direct, high-flow transition enhances flow to maintain patency, reducing the risk of thrombus formation.

In addition, the four-channel fluted profile of the Kardia Spiral, Coaxial and Smart Drain increases drainage surface area as much as 10x compared to traditional drains while the soft silicone construction reduces patient pain and discomfort.

To learn more about the Redax portfolio of fluted silicone catheters with a direct high-flow transition, call 888-891-1200 or email us to be connected to your local representative.
