MED Alliance Partner Surge Cardiovascular Awarded Premier Agreement

Surge Cardiovascular, a cardiac surgery medical device manufacturing partner of MED Alliance Solutions, was awarded a group purchasing agreement with Premier, one of the largest group purchasing organizations (GPO) in the United States.1

Premier’s alliance includes approximately 4,000 U.S. hospitals and health systems and an additional 165,000 providers and organizations.2

The agreement allows Premier members, at their discretion, to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for cardiothoracic surgery products.

“The Premier agreement is a huge win for Surge Cardiovascular,” said MED Alliance Solutions VP of Sales Mike Schroeder. “Surge’s high-quality, cost-efficient cardiothoracic surgical devices meet Premier’s standards of providing solutions that deliver quality outcomes while reducing costs. The contract will give Surge products more visibility and make purchasing easier and more cost-efficient for Premier hospital customers.”
