Building Relationships with Manufacturers
MED Alliance Solutions is dedicated to partnering with manufacturers offering high quality, cost-effective and innovative cardiac medical devices that improve patient care. Our partnerships with manufacturers can begin in a variety of ways but eventually mold into strong relationships as we provide sales and distribution services to meet their needs and support their growth.
Delacroix-Chevalier and MED Alliance Solutions have the longest history of all our manufacturers, and dates back more than 15 years. Delacroix-Chevalier is a manufacturer of cardiac surgical instruments and is based in France. MED Alliance President Michael Crawford met Delacroix-Chevalier representatives when he worked for a previous company. Delacroix-Chevalier decided to retain their relationship with Michael when MED Alliance formed, giving exclusive selling rights to MED Alliance in the United States.
Michael then met Bob Taylor, CEO of Surge Cardiovascular, about 10 years ago through a mutual customer. After getting to know one another and throughout many conversations, the two decided to do business together about four years ago. Surge Cardiovascular, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, granted MED Alliance Solutions exclusive rights to sell their open heart surgical products in the United States. Since then, Michael and Bob have traveled together domestically and internationally, worked together on various business plans, and collaborated closely for new product designs.
MED Alliance Solutions’ most recent partnership began last year with Redax, an Italian-based manufacturer of thoracic catheters. Redax visited MED Alliance in October and after numerous conversations, MED Alliance signed an agreement to be the exclusive distributor in the United States and launched Redax in March. MED Alliance is eager to help Redax build its presence in the United States.
MED Alliance continues to build outstanding business and personal relationships with our manufacturers by going above and beyond stocking, packing, and shipping their products. We have an expert team dedicated to supporting our manufacturers in sales, marketing and customer service. We manage and support 45 sales representatives throughout the country to keep these products at the forefront of customers’ minds. Our sales and marketing coordinators promote products through our website and social media outlets, assist with national tradeshows and are the primary liaisons between the manufacturer and customer. Our specialty-trained customer service team is always ready to assist customers by taking orders, answering questions and providing status updates. Having an entire team dedicated to supporting our manufacturers strengthens our relationships and allows us all to succeed in the industry.
