The Redax Smart Drain is a unique fluted drain that enhances the traditional channel design to offer enhanced flow performance and patency for a variety of procedures.

Available in a wide range of sizes, from 10 – 32Fr, the Redax Smart Drain features four symmetrical v-shaped channels over 30 cm of indwelling which provides an increased surface area for drainage by capillarity. In addition to the four fluted channels, the Smart Drain features a direct, high-flow transition from indwelling to the open bore that is up to four times shorter than competitive drains. Redax’s high-flow transition helps to increase flow and maintain patency, mitigating blood retention complications.
